This one still hasn't really sunk in almost a year later. I spent about six years with this car, which is certainly the longest time with any car of my own so far. All the quirks and habits I picked up driving this car are still with me, for better or for worse -- or much worse, in cases like lifting off the throttle in the middle of hard cornering. Fine for a front wheel drive CRX, can be dangerous in a rear wheel drive car.

| Rear ended by a Ford Taurus, pushed into a Volvo. | Front end buckled, never saw the engine again. | Back end folded under a bit, bending over the rear wheel well. |
I'd loaned the CRX to a friend over the winter while I was working in New York. He was stopped behind other cars waiting for a light on Route 3/Route 16 in Cambridge, Massachusetts just by Alewife Station. A grandmother from Vernon, New Jersey was apparently paying too much attention to a pair of grandchildren in the back of her Ford Taurus. She plowed into the back of the CRX, driving it into the Volvo in front of it.
